Safety

Our 200 ft long zip-line is rated for loads up to 4,000 lbs and it is carefully tested and properly maintained for safety. Every rider will be assisted with expert guidance by our professional staff members. Climbing harnesses and helmets must be worn at all times during the ride. Because the zip-line involves height, motion, and special climbing equipment there is a measure of caution that must be adhered to by all participants. Not only is our zip-line certified and annually inspected, it is also rigorously maintained and tested for safe operation.

The zip line is closed October 31 - April 1 and operates weather-permitting the rest of the year. Conditions unsuitable for the zip line include, but are not limited to: rain, snow, sleet, ice, slick/slippery stairs & platform, extreme cold, and nearby thunder or lightning. The zipline WILL NOT RUN under these conditions, or under any conditions deemed unsuitable by AFSC staff and management.
