Now that you you have completed at least part, if not all, of Step 2, you are ready to send in your electronic application form for the Homeschool High School Seniors Essay Competition.
Overview
Homeschooled high school senior students entering the 2012
Science Fair Convention at the Akron Fossils & Science Center who win a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their category, are additionally eligible for a $500 cash prize. One $500 cash prize will be awarded. The monies have been graciously donated by the Cooper family in loving memory of their homeschooled daughter, Alicia Cooper. The monies are to be applied to higher education costs and will be sent to the school of choice after confirmation of acceptance has been provided.
Essay
A 500-word essay on “My Strategies for Being a Christian Witness to Creation in the Higher Education Classroom” must be included with this application.
