Place:  Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, OH

Breathtaking scenery enhances this annual adventure.  Whether you are a beginner on the ropes or a seasoned veteran, there will be something for everyone on the cliffs.  The great group of people drawn to this activity and our expert outfitter both will encourage you to move up to the next level of difficulty on the ropes, but everyone is allowed to set their own pace.  Hearing Al's perspectives on what formed this incredible area of cliffs and boulders will be one you have not heard before.

Special Requests Possible - If you have specific topics you would like Al to touch on, please email Cindy at cindyjulius@akronfossils.com .  Also be sure to let us know if you have had previous experience or if this is your first time.

SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS !!!!!!!!!! - Cindy J.

2012 Cost: $45 per person (non-refundable)  Price includes use of climbing harnesses, carabeeners, helmets, ropes, and several creation mini talks on geological features and wildlife in the Hocking Hills area by expert naturalist and outfitter, Al Parker.  All attendees on the cliffs (even spectators) are required to make full payment due to insurance considerations.

Monies are due with sign up. Payments can be by credit card by calling the Science Center at 330-665-DINO (3466) or by making a check out to Akron Fossils & Science Center.  Cancelations due to severe weather will be the judgment call of Al Parker and rain dates, if necessary, will be chosen by the group.  Please note that some light rain during the day is normal for this area.

RESTRICTIONS: Participants must be between 50 and 300 lbs.  Parents are asked to evaluate their child's level of maturity and listening skills when deciding to have them participate as there are naturally inherent dangers on the cliffs.
