Welcome to the official website for Akron Fossils & Science Center and Truassic Park!

Welcome

Our growing science center features hands-on guided tours and science activities. Our exhibits display many fossils from Ohio and around the world. We look forward to seeing you in our 4,500 square foot museum and 2 1/2 acre outdoor adventure park called Truassic Park.

Is the Science Center appropriate for all ages?

Yes. Our hands-on guided tours are targeted to the age and comprehension level of the youngest person in each tour group. More

Do I have to make a reservation for a tour?

It depends. If you are an individual or family you do not need to make any reservations, however we recommend that you call before you come so that you do not arrive at the same time as a previously scheduled group. If you are in a group of ten or more people, advanced reservations are required. See our group fieldtrip page More

Can I tour the museum by myself?

No, the museum is set up for guided tours. Once you have been given a guided tour, however, you may explore the exhibits again at your own pace. More
