Exhibit Lectures & Workshops

Formerly called "Specialized Science Classes"

In addition to our guided tours and sporadic Lecture Series, we have in-depth lectures and workshops available on many of the exhibits in our museum. Our class topics are designed to meet specific benchmarks in the State of Ohio's K-12th Grade Standards. The exhibits in our museum touch on these benchmarks as well. Our classes will be catered to the age of your group.

Lecture Style

This style of class is conducted by one of our tour guides with a PowerPoint presentation and hand-out sheets for taking notes. The cost for a 50-minute exhibit lecture is $2 per person and is only available to groups of ten or more people.

Workshop Style

Our workshop style classes include everything that our lecture style class has PLUS a hands-on take-home science project for each student! The cost for a workshop class varies depending on the type of take-home project, as well as the number of students.

We Can Travel to Your Location

Our Exhibit Lectures and Workshops are not confined to take place at our Science Center alone. We can travel to your group! Please contact our Director of Outreach, Josiah Detwiler, to submit your request.
