BECOME A FRIEND OF THE MUSEUM
    Becoming a Friend of the Museum is easy! Simply decide how much of a donation you, your family or your organization would like to make in support of Akron Fossils and Science Center per month or year. Once decided, you will have the option to SPONSOR A DAY, SPONSOR A DISPLAY or to be placed within one of three clubs: MAMMOTH CLUB, TRICERATOPS TEAM or BEHEMOTH BUNCH. Your name, your family's name or the name of your company/oganization will then be mounted onto our 'Friends of the Museum' Sponsorship Wall and you will receive the designated gifts, newletters, etc.

The Membership Plans are as follows:

SPONSOR A DAY:
    You and/or your organization can make a difference by sponsoring a day at the museum! In addition to recognition on our marquee, you will be issued passes to our center. Full Day Sponsorship & 50 passes = $250.00, Half Day Sponsorship & 25 passes = $125.00.

SPONSOR A DISPLAY:
    You can help us by sponsoring a museum display! Our displays range from smaller exhibits, which are $125.00, to larger exhibits listed at $250.00. You will be issued a 2-day family pass and your name will be posted on the display. We will also work with you to upgrade your chosen display!

MAMMOTH CLUB: $500 or MORE!
    As part of our Mammoth Club, you/your family/.your organization will receive 1 travel mug featuring our logo, 2 Truassic Park Adventures shirts, our Virtual Tour DVD hosted and guided by our founder William Sanderson, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the museum with William sanserson, and unlimited park access for 1 year, including 4 guest passes.

TRICERATOPS TEAM: $300-$499
    When you become a member of our Triceratops Team, you will enjoy 1 travel mug featuring our logo, 1 Truassic Park Adventures shirt, 1 Virtual Tour DVD hosted and guided by our founder William Sanderson and unlimited access to our park during the Summer Season, including 3 guest passes.

BEHEMOTH BUNCH: $100 - $299
    Becoming part of our Behemoth Bunch is a great way to get started supporting  our museum! At this level, you will receive 1 travel mug featuring our logo and 1 month unlimited access to Akron Fossils and Science Center, including 2 guest passes!

    Friends of the Museum can have their charge card drafted monthly, quarterly, or annually for an amount you wish to donate. For more information on how to become a Friend of the Museum, please call the Center at 330.665.DINO

Aside from monetary support, you can help us by donating items needed to keep our facility going!

Dino Hunting Zone
- Latex rubber tubing (used for water balloon launch slings in our Dino Hunting Zone
- Water Balloons

Paper Airplanes
- Regular copy paper for the paper airplanes (constructed during the tour)
- Staples (i.e. metallic stabilizing bar)
- Scotch Tape (i.e. polypropylene bonding strip)
- Paper clips, large regular (launch hook)
- Rubber bands, extra long (launching device)

Museum & Park Maintenance
- Mops and brooms
- Soaps and cleaning agents
- Paint brushes (any size––no brush is too small!)
- Light bulbs (for track spotlights)
- Gas Weed-whacker
- Leaf blower
- Mulch
- Sand [sand box grade] (to replace the dusty Dig-Pit limestone screenings)

Park Expansion Items Needed
- Picnic Tables
- Paint (any color––we’ll mix it, match it, and use it somewhere!)
- Split-rail fence
- Children’s bikes (to replace some of the older bikes in the Dino 500)
- Indoor carpeting and floor tiles (referrals appreciated as well)
- CD player/writer (to be used in lectures, presentations, and background music)
- Mud-mats (for park exit and entrance)

Snail Mail Newsletter Supplies
Would you like to once again receive our quarterly newsletter Truassic Times by mail?  We would be greatly blessed if someone could cover the cost of printing and publishing of our newsletters.  We have switched to an E-mail format only newsletter because of the high cost of postage and our limited budget.
Supplies needed are: paper, ink and postage.
