Although the group size was a bit smaller this year, everyone had just as much fun! Our new assistant guide, Dick Sanderson (Bill Sandersons cousin) caught a huge Northern Pike and some of the other team members caught some enormous Wide-Mouth Bass! We had our first father-daughter duo on the trip (which worked out terrific) Julia says she cant wait to go back to the Boundary Waters again. Mr. Sandersons grandson, Atticus, also went on the trip; this was his first year in the Boundary Waters as well! Click more to see pictures from the trip. More

Our six member team paddled out into the US/Canadain Boundary Waters for a for a five day canoe trip. Our team made thier base camp on Rabbit Lake and enjoyed beautiful weather and unusually smooth waters during the trip. We also enjoyed the crackling of a campfire in the evenings because there was a wet summer and therefore no fire ban as in years past . The unusually high numbers of mosquitoes were countered by the many wild blueberries, creating a bittersweet experience! The oldest participant was 79 years old; great job Chuck! More...

Eight people participated in our five day canoe trip in the BWCAW with a father-son contingent that spanned three generations! High spirits and strong backs enabled the team to push through stiff head winds and white capped waves on Lake Saganaga on our way back to the Gunflint trailhead! Beautiful weather greeted the jovial team everyday with only a short downpour of rain one evening, producing a lovely rainbow. More...

The rest of the trip was beautiful with sunny skies and cool breezes. Fishing was excellent with some of the largest Northern Pike ever caught on one of our museum sponsored canoe trips. More...
