Admission and Hours of Operation
Our general museum tours are guided tours conducted by our well trained and professional staff members.  
Each tour is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration. Our last tour begins at 3:45 p.m., so please plan accordingly.

  Admission Price Increased on July 1st
On July 1, 2008 we raised our admission prices at Akron Fossils and Science Center (AFSC). We have not changed our prices since we first opened in May 2005 and the museum and park have undergone some major changes since then. We have added several new exhibits and updated some older ones this past year and have raised our admission prices to match the changes. Our prices are still very competitive with other museums in our area.

Our birthday parties have also undergone a price change to accommodate the new tour options and new add-ons. You can see the new admission prices by clicking on our admission page and see the new and improved birthday party selections. Thank you for all your support as we celebrate our fourth summer season as Ohio’s first creation science museum.

Summer Hours
- Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday & Monday Closed

Our Summer Hours run between the day after Memorial Day to the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (May 27 – August 30th).


Days We Are Closed
We are closed on more major holidays- please call first

Museum and Truassic Park will be closed on:
Memorial Day (May 26), Independence Day (July 4), Silent Auction & Spaghetti Dinner (November 1), Thanksgiving (November 27) Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24 and 25), New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (December 31 and January 1).


Admission
(Includes a guided tour of the museum and full access to Truassic Park)

Price increases effective July 1st, 2008

Adults:                                                      $7.00 (increasing to $8 each)
Children (ages 3 - 12):                               $5.00 (increasing to $6 each)
2 and under are FREE                              (no changes)

Maximum family admission cost:           $25.00 (increasing to $30)



Group Rates
(Please call for group reservations at least two weeks in advance)

10 or more people:                                   $5.00 per person (increasing to $6 each)

Park Pass
Truassic Park ONLY Pass:                            $3.00 per person (no changes)

Membership
One Year Family Membership:                    $75.00 (no changes)

Save your receipt from your family admission pass (cost of $30) and we will credit the $25 toward your one year Family Membership when purchase one!

Helpful Reminders…
We are a wheelchair and stroller accessible facility (i.e. there are no stairs).

Truassic Park is an outdoor playground and dinosaur themed adventure park for children and adults. The 1.5 acre park is open weather permitting. A detailed photo gallery of our outdoor playground equipment and rides (including our 200 ft. long zip-line) is coming soon.
