FREE Stampin'Up! Face Painting

Lee Bradford paints faces with stamps

Come over to Lee Bradford’s (a Stampin'Up! Supervisor) face painting booth for a FREE “FACE PAINT!” Stampin'Up! is similar to the traditional face painting technique but done with stamps and multi-colored FD&C approved non-toxic inks instead. Lee has 12 fun, kid friendly designs to choose from that are sure to appeal to children of all ages.  The stamped images can be put on your face, arm or wrist in just a minute or two (and later washed off with soap and water)!

Lee Bradford also has a small craft business and a blog with special news updates about her “Christmas Gift Crafting Workshops for Kids” on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

2008 Fundraiser Results

Thank you for helping us to make tracks into the future by supporting the Science Center November 1st at our 4th Annual Fundraiser. Although our Silent Auction and Pasta Dinner exceeded our expectations! A grand total of $8,765 was raised for the Science Center (that’s just a little bit less than the fund-raiser profits from 2007)! The fund-raiser money will be used to purchase new equipment and supplies for our museum, office and park (two of which include purchasing a new digital camera and dehumidifier).

As your auction receipts says, Akron Fossils & Science Center is a 501(c)3 organization. Therefore your item purchases (at our fundraiser) are considered a donation and are tax deductable.

We would like to specially thank each of our fund-raiser helpers and volunteers who worked tirelessly in the months and days before the fund-raiser as well as in setup and tear-down the day of the event. Thank you Aaron, Abbey, Bill, Brooke, Calvin, Cara, Chad, Cindy, David, DeAnna, Debbie, Elizabeth, Emily, Fred & Christy, Gail, Heather, Janie, Joani, Josiah, Karen, Katelyn, Lucy, Lynn, Mary, Melody, Nathan, Rachel, Shelly, and Stephen, we could not have pulled off the event without your help!
