COPLEY – Akron Fossils and Science Center will be holding its second Creation
Fair April 16-24th, 2010. The event is being held in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Science Center. This year's theme is: "Wonders of Creation."

The Creation Fair is a week-long, family and group-oriented event, with keynote speakers, crafts and games for the children, and a series of booth-by-booth displays of various creation evidences alongside the usual displays already at the Science Center.


Group Visits
The Creation Fair is designed for group and family-size guided tours. Reservations to the fair can be made by calling the Science Center at (330) 665-3466.

Activities
Truassic Park (located at the same site as the museum) is an outdoor dinosaur themed play land featuring a 200 foot long zip-line and a 56 foot giant slide. Swing, slides, merry-go-rounds and crafts are also part of the adventure at the Creation Fair.

What Happened to the Dinosaurs?
Dr. John Whitmore
Friday, April 16, 2010, 7-8 pm (all ages)

Dr. Whitmore will present a biblical perspective on dinosaurs and then describe several different hypotheses for how they may have disappeared. Dr. Whitmore is a geologist and paleontologist from Cedarville University.

The Grand Canyon

Dr. Whitmore has been heavily involved in the research of this magnificent Canyon.  He will teach about some amazing discoveries that have been made in several of the rock layers and then discuss how the Canyon itself may have been carved.

Marissa Dubina is back again with another hands-on show and tell presentation.
Are dinosaurs and lizards the same thing? Come hear Marissa to find out! You also learn about remarkable features in reptiles that show clear evidence of a Creator.

William Sanderson

Our founder, William Sanderson will explain how modern science confirms the Bible with accuracy and certainty. Learn how the truthfulness of Genesis is inseparable from the integrity of the rest of Scripture.
